Review:
Lemon Girl is a fantastic and brilliant book written by Jyoti Arora. The book consists of two unique and strong characters Nirvi, Arsh and their journey towards becoming one. The author Jyoti Arora has described Nirvi in a spectacular manner. In a way that will make you shed tears for Nirvi in her pain, distress and anguish which she goes through after being disrespected and raped by her own brother. This forces her to leave the house forever . In search of solace and happiness. On the other hand the author has described Arsh in an realistic way .The author has portrayed him as a gentleman who has his intentions clear about helping Nirvi in 1000 different ways .The author has also described his helplessness to reproach her, to ask for forgiveness for his actions in an mind-blowing fashion .The author has described the emotions of characters in an very enchanting manner .The dialogues are simple .The plot is very simple and sweet .What I like about this book is that the author has used Tiya like a sunshine in Nirvi’s life. Lemon Girl by Jyoti Arora is an amazing book .An Awesome Read.
Lemon Girl by Jyoti Arora is highly recommended read to all book lovers.

Review: Sweta Chakraborty’s book- ‘The Magical Tiffin Box’ would tempt any mother to flip through its pages with its punch line ‘which always comes back empty.’ In today’s time, healthy living focus on conscious eating. Sweta has brought simple, easy and delectable dishes all panned out in one book mentioning the nutritional note of every dish that adds as a special advantage. It starts with ‘Irresistible Bites’, the twenty five recipes that could serve wonderful mouth watering lunch box items and then move on to ‘Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian Snacks’ like Chole Chaat, Baked Capsicum, Chowlet, Chicken Pie etc. The book also illustrates a collection of thirty selected scrumptious delights for Diabetic Patients. It sums up with ‘Wow Treats’ that complete your delightful feast with lip smacking desserts like Apple Cheesecake, Microwave Apple Crisps, Puddings etc.

Sweta has presented every recipe in a unique eloquent and interesting way with a smart tagline and a little history of the dish, for instance- ‘take a tasty break’ catches your eye as you read on the dish name- ‘White Frosted Doughnuts’ further learning about the little history of Doughnuts.

Overall, I have not tried the dishes myself but they definitely seem promising! I would say, it’s well compiled and enticing. The book could be your magic wand to create perfect lunch box and be the star of your home.

Review:

Kaleidoscope- The changing colours of Love is a delicate and delightful collection of poems by Rachna Gupta, riveted with pristine magnificent moods, emotions and expressions. The author has unravelled the beauty and richness of three stages of ‘Love’ in her book- The beginning of Love, Separated by Miles and Love finds a way.

The first section creates a strange refreshing sweet sense of charisma, magnetism and warmth towards the exciting bouquet of first love leaving behind the reticence. The second section ‘Separated by Miles, however expresses the soaring agony, ache and desperation clouding the mind of the lost lonely heart with eternal wait. The dark howling shadows of painful separation come to an end comprising the third and final section ‘Love finds a way’ when the two lovers find solace, passion and respite with each other to start a new journey with promises of togetherness.

Rachna Gupta has poignantly cradled the emotional state of the lover’s mind and heart right from the initial days to the centre of slowly blooming romance until the heart breaking long distance separation that eventually ends up in the reunion of two hearts. The poems often endow the fascinating nature and surroundings to achieve a sense of surrealism and freedom.

The writing style is lucid, graceful and appealing. Rachna Gupta has done an admirable job in stringing ‘Love’ as a single timeless theme with many facets and contradictions.

Review:

Life – have you ever tried to understand the true meaning of this precious gift to humanity? Have you ever thought of beautifying your life by imparting a purpose to it? Have you ever felt your life to be blessed with someone special – say someone to be titled as a messenger of god; who helps you to tred through the maze of life? If not would you be interested in personifying one? Come let us live our life to Perdition  with CG Sreedevan!

This fictious work is a creative piece from the author who comes from a creative professional sector. Representing retail sector might seem as an extra ordinary disconnect but as you read him more and understand the psyche of his characters you will witness the efficacy of the message for humanity presented by the author.

As I started reading the book, initially I perceived it as just another book sharing school days memories (which was proved wrong later on) but I had two questions drilling in my mind which pushed me to sail through the tides of the words sprawling across the book. First how does the title and second the book cover relate to the story? What’s in it? What is the author’s guiding force behind writing this script? Does this story proves to be instrumental in a way or the other to the readers but how?

I continued my voyage through the book pages and found my answers! No, we never gonna set on some treasure hunt but what he preaches is nothing lesser! Only a few budding authors become successful in touching the right chords and he did it.

Life to Perdition  by C.G. is a story about a boy named Sijil. Technically. speaking, it is his diary archive which he unfolds in front of the readers as he is on his way to a life transforming journey. He shares with you the joys and sorrows starting from the day when the love of his life makes an entry into his life and travels down the memory lane which ends up in the present -perfect!

Though, I found the formatting of the book a bit weak but it is nothing much to be counted as a drawback. Second aspect that might be a concern for a few readers is – the length of the book but if you are a reading freak (like me) then this too can be dealt with utmost ease. Having said this, I would add that once you invest time in reading it; you will not regret and will feel very light-hearted.

The author has adopted a simple conversational style of writing.  This makes it easy to read it faster (and assume, sometimes) and his detailed specifics brings it closer to the reality; readers especially boys will find it as if it is about their life being streamed live.  Surprisingly, the story takes an emotional turn as it approaches the concluding pages and leaves you enlightened.

Yes, you read it correctly – a love story that enlightens! How did the author serve this purpose? Well, you guessed it correctly; you need to make a purchase.

So, let us unlock the doors of our mental blocks and move ahead towards life to Perdition.

Review:

A tense story line full of emotional and corporate hiccoughs, Di(e)lemma is beautiful book which takes you to the corporate filth, emotional turmoil of the victim couple.

Vinod (Bezaar) has earlier written books on medical issues, diabetes and heart problem and has ventured into fiction with proficient writing style.

The author has a vivid voice in his writing and lures readers with a page turning story line till the last page.  The mature storyline, raises questions on love and trust at the ripened age of 50 plus. It dwells with complicated human behavior and how work and corporate affair might inflict breaches beyond repair in personal life.
